I'm coming to Sweden as a student this August. I came across your weblog today and found the information on Swedish ways, etc most interesting. I've already read all the posts in your archive. I wish you wrote more, especially about your experiences in Sweden. Keep up the good work!
I got my residence&work permiion from migration office.Now i am studying swedish LANGUAGE fırst before workıng,i applied to commung for sosial supporting to me for my expenses for bus living till get job,but they refused and told regarding EU rules and Nordic convention you cant get support and should support yourself.My wife is from denmark and nordic citizense and cant for temproraly caring our newborned child.i wanna ask if i really havenot got any right to get support while learning swedish and untill get work in sweden???Thank you for your interests and answers.
Hello amin, Here is a simple answer to your question.You get social benefits if you are swedish or perminently resident in Sweden.If other wise then you are just considered a visitor and visitors do not have rights to social welfare except you are an asylum seeker which you are not. Its just that simple. Ngala
